Juneteenth Capsule Collection

This limited edition capsule collection is available for purchase from June 1-10 to ensure orders reach their intended destinations before June 19 (Juneteenth). The colors in this collection align with the Juneteenth flag created in 1997 by Ben Haith, founder of the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation. The holiday's origins are in Texas, as it was on June 19, 1965 when enslaved people in Galveston,TX were finally made aware of their freed status, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. The following year marked the first known Juneteenth celebrations in Texas. In current day, Juneteenth celebrations are held nationally on or around June 19th.
